How to get here
How to get to Lofoten & Moskenes Island:
The ferry connection Bodø – Moskenes – the timetable and prices are available at www.thn.no
The Arctic Route – explore Lofoten by BUS and travel between Narvik and Å in Lofoten. You can travel in a large area, spreading out between Narvik and Lofoten, by bus. The buses are operated by the Arctic Route with English-speaking drivers, free WI- FI and toilets onboard. And stop in front of the reception here at Eliassen Rorbuer. Easy!
We warmly recommend you to use The Arctic Route or public buses as a good choice for collective transportation, especially in the winter time, when the road conditions are more demanding to drive by rental car.
You can take bus near the airport in Leknes to Hamnøy (in Moskenes).
If you arrive to Evenes, Svolvær or Leknes airports you take a bus and also rent a car.
The bus timetables and prices for public buses are available at www.177nordland.no
The bus stop is 5-7min walk from our reception. You have to get off on the bus stop “Hamnøy” close to the tunnel and walk along the main road, around the harbour. You will see our resort on your right. Keep walking until you will see a sign with big map (nearby the bridge). From there you can locate reception and your cabin. If you arrive from Moskenes the bus can also drop you off right after the Hamnøy bridge. You will see the name of our resort on the road sign. Then you will have 1 min walk to our reception.
It is 10 km from the ferry station in Moskenes to our resort and you can take a bus during day time from Moskenes to Hamnøy or rent a used car with www.rentacar-moskenes.no
We hope this information will help you to plan your trip 🙂
