Agreement between ELIASSEN RORBUER DRIFT AS (Organisation No.: 993 912 999) and the guest.

1. Introduction.

a) Under this agreement Eliassen Rorbuer Drift AS is the seller of services and a subject legally responsible for activities taking place via the following webpage etc.

b) Eliassen Rorbuer Drift AS guarantees that the storage and use of personal data shall always take place in accordance with the guidelines in force. Personal data shall not be used for purposes other than connected with the agreement between Eliassen Rorbuer Drift AS and the guest.

c) Reservations are not encompassed with the Norwegian act on the right to withdraw from an agreement, § 19, section 1, item b).

d) Booking and cancellation policy applies to all services. The guest has to be of age.

2. Booking and confirmation

a) Reservation made via the on-line form, in writing or in oral form shall be binding for both parties.

b) While making a reservation the guest provides information concerning their name and surname, address, mobile phone number, credit card number with expiry date, as well as the time of arrival and departure.

3. Arrival and departure of the guest

a) Unless agreed otherwise, the fisherman’s cabin/room shall be at the guest’s disposal from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Checking-out needs to take place on the day of departure at 11 a.m. at the latest.  

b) At the check-in the guest provides personal data and pays for their stay in advance according to the agreement, unless the stay has already been paid for during the online booking or prepayment.

4. Cancellation and no show

a) In order to avoid the necessity to make a payment, cancellations can be made 24 hours prior to the day of arrival.

b) If the guest fails to cancel the reservation in accordance with section (a), they shall be obliged to pay full amount for their stay and a compensation to the benefit of Eliassen Rorbuer for special expenses/costs, which the Eliassen Rorbuer company incurred in connection with the reservation.

c) In the case of a reservation made on the day of arrival and unused, an invoice shall be issued for the first day of stay.

d) (No show) – If a reservation has not been cancelled, or has been cancelled less than 24 hours before the date of arrival, the guest shall pay a compensation for services stipulated in the agreement, unless the capacity will be resold.

5. Reimbursement of money

In the case of a cancellation in accordance with the deadline, Eliassen Rorbuer shall reimburse the incurred costs to the guest. Eliassen Rorbuer shall a processing fee which shall be deducted from the reimbursed amount.

Eliassen Rorbuer cannot be held responsible for any refunds or difficulties arising from any factors beyond the accommodation provider’s control, such as for example weather conditions, frequency of use of the local means of transportation, political situation, war, pandemic, temporary inconveniences caused by temporary shortages of water or electricity, repairs, maintenance, construction development of the facilities used or circumstances arising from the actions of the Customer.

6. Conduct in the case of an illness

In the case of an illness the stay shall be paid for by the guest, unless the cancellation of a booking takes place in accordance with the dates stipulated in section 4 and 5. Eliassen Rorbuer Drift AS recommends the guests to cover the costs of cancellation from their insurance company.
